Technical Majors The Academy will help you focus on school and ultimately focus on a career path. Here's how. In 9th grade, you'll take classes in our basic curriculum. That's math, science, social studies and English along with electives. You'll also have special terms during the year when you can start exploring majors. In 10th grade, you'll spend one quarter each in four of the five majors. This will give you the background to make the best choice for you. You can take part in hands-on projects plus career awareness, trade orientation and academic enrichment programs. Finally, when you're a junior and senior, you'll pursue a single major. By specializing, you'll be a step ahead wherever you go after graduation. If you qualify, you may even take advanced classes at Dunwoody College. |
